Elder Ras I-RICE: Ras I-Rice is a founding member of IDOR, a renown oral historian and member of the Elder Executive Counsel, as well as IDOR’s first President. Ras I-Rice has spent over 50 years praising Emperor Haile Selassie I and is a respected member of the international Ras Tafari community. Ras I-Rice is a co-author of the Ras Tafari language and 19 year member of the Washington D.C. Ras Tafari community.
Nana Mother Farika Berhane: Mother Farika is a founding member of IDOR, published author, journalist, poet, literacy specialist, and educator. Nana Farika served as the first Excutive Director of IDOR up until 2007 when she decided to focus on publishing her extensive catalog of Ras Tafari and Pan African written works. Nana Farika still serves as a valuable advisor on the Elders Executive Counsel.
Elder Ras Marcus: Elder Ras Marcus is an oral historian, poet, community activist and founding member of IDOR. Elder Ras Marcus is IDOR’s first treasurer. Ras Marcus is a co-author of the Ras Tafari language and was featured on the Ras Tafari Elder CD.
I-yata I-Addis: I-yata Addis is a founding member of IDOR, a media specialist who has spent many years in the video recording industry Mama I-yaddis has been a tireless worker in the Washington D.C. and Maryland Ras Tafari community and now serves as IDOR’s co-treasurer and co-secretary.
Dejazmatch George: Ras George is founding member of IDOR, head of the legal committee and member of the board of directors and Shashamane committee. Ras George also serves as the chair for the Haile Selassie I Foundation for law and society.
Ras Wayne: Ras Wayne is a business entrepreneur, and serves as the IDOR African Representative. Ras Wayne also serves on the Shashamane Committee
Dejazmatch Kwasi: Ras Kwasi is a founding member of IDOR and currently serves as Vice President. Ras Kwasi is also a member of IDOR legal committee and IDOR’s Shashamane committee.
Sister Thea: Sister Thea joined IDOR’s board of directors in 2008 and currently represents Sistren affairs. Sister Thea is trained and employed as a chemical engineer.
