The Ras of today remain consistent with the Movement’s core ideal of repatriation, reparation and redemption, yet we are mature enough to find virtue and commonsense from the suggestion that an acknowledgment of, and even ownership in the total assest of the nations of which were born and where we invested sweat and blood, may offer an opportunity to assist in the creation of the economic resources that are necessary for repatriation to our continent, Ethiopia; and offer the political and moral clout to further the cause of reparations.
